      This position is a contract and program manager for the Construction Program. The position is responsible for managing the progress of all contracted public involvement activities involving the Engineering Division and contracted public involvement activities on construction projects. The position directly reports to the Consultant Design Bureau with an indirect report to the Public Involvement Officer and is responsible for management of various consultants performing work for MDT.Some of the duties include-Prepare consultant agreements and amendments to ensure accurate and legal documentation of project requirements. Manage contract budget to ensure compliance with agreements and to track funding levels through review of earned value reports and approval of expenses.This position requires extensive skills in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with the public, officials, media contacts, and Department staff and managers.
