At Væksthuset I was responsible for several projects and with coaching entrepreneurs and SMEs on growth strategies – in particular on soft funding for R&D projects, the possibilities of establishing international partnerships and on the possibilities of engaging in public-private innovation in the healthcare market. Larger projects included: 2015-2017: Nordic Business & Living Lab Alliance (www.livinglaballiance.org) I was the head of the Nordic Business & Living Lab Aliance from its start in 2015. The project focused on identifying, developing and dissemination best practices on how Nordic municipalities test and co-create together with companies within independent living. The project partner group was: City of Oslo, Helsinki, Reykjavik, Copenhagen and Västerås supported by Forum Virium Helsinki and the Icelandic Federation of Industries. 2015-2017: Enterprise Europe Network (EEN) Through EEN I assisted Danish companies in finding and engaging in international collaboration. Examples included assisting companies in contracting with international distributors or suppliers as well as finding international R&D partners 2014-2015: Offentlige-Private Alliancer (OPALL - www.opall.dk) OPALL created numerous PPI partnerships between municipalities, companies and research and educational institutions within welfare technologies. OPALL was funded by EU and regional funding with a total budget of circa 23 mill. DKK. From 2014 to the end of OPALL in 2015 I was the overall project manager of OPALL. I managed the budget, deliveries, reporting etc. and coordinated the partner group of DI, Dansk Erhverv, KORA, DTU and Professionshøjskolen Metropol 2013-2014: TekBoost TekBoost matched DK companies with a panels of experts and researchers that provided input on R&D challenges. Senior consultant
-
Nov 2010 - Jan 2013
I worked as a senior consultant for a Danish consultancy firm with services focused on acquiring funding for technology based innovation projects. My work was focused on sales and delivery of projects. I advising my customers (primarily Danish SMEs and LEs) on obtaining and using external funding both strategically and for specific innovation projects. I was responsible for sales and closing of contracts as well as delivery of projects. This entailed entering projects at an early stage where I assisted customers with conceptualizing and defining project ideas. I also established contact to potential project partners in order to ensure a clear value-chain in the projects e.g. partners with R&D competencies, partners with production capabilities and partners with market access.
