  Duty and on-the-job accomplishments include: Supervision of drilling activities for both Golden Star (Bogoso/Prestea) Ltd and AMS contractors. Carry out design for all drill and blast activities according to the company and regulatory standards. Ensure that all drill and blast activities are conducted according to design. Supervision of all African Explosives (Ghana) Ltd (AEL) blasting crew at Golden Star (Bogoso/Prestea) Ltd. Regularly review blast design parameters on the basis of blast monitoring records.  Generation, designing and simulation of the blast pattern using the AEL Tie_UpS (SHOT Plus v1.87) Software to achieve the desired firing system. Liaise with African Explosives Ltd (AEL Gh) in all blasting related issues. Issue blasting notices to the appropriate personnel in accordance with company standard procedures. Preparation of Daily, Weekly and Monthly Drill and Blast reports. Preparation of Weekly and Monthly Explosives consumption Reports. Preparation of Monthly Drill & Blast Cost Summary. Preparation of Monthly Explosives and Blast Monitoring summary for submission to the Inspectorate Division of Mines.
