At PREMIER I worked in the credit department performing various day-to-day tasks as well as special projects. Primarily focus on applications submitted by customers for the MasterCard credit card. The variety of tasks include evaluating applications that come into the department, after evaluating each application I sent to representatives for data entry processing, once processed will evaluate final data entry for accuracy. Another task is to review approved applications and the processing fees are cleared. Evaluate applications submitted via electronically verifying IP addresses to determine fraudulent activity. Assess previous days’ production activity by customer representative who process data applications for production goals and accuracy. Help schedule the next days’ production activities. Review monthly and daily reports to gain knowledge of the key performance metrics of the credit process, as well as the entire credit process flow. Participating in various meetings to gain an an understanding of current issues and project as it relates to the credit process as a whole. At the end of the internship I will be responsible for a formal presentation where I will provide my feedback and suggestions based on my three-month observation period.
