Managed 10 FTEs. Added new service line to existing Wound Care Program. Acquired thousands of dollars in Capital Workforce Partner grant, providing funding to support training and career counseling for graduate nurse positions. Collaborated in resolving issues and participating in 2010 contract renegotiation with union leadership. Managed nine FTEs and relevant operations budget. Co-chaired organizational staffing effectiveness project, decreasing overtime. Centralized department education structure; led implementation of leading-edge simulation center. Facilitated implementation of organizational leadership program, based on GE’s leadership curriculum, achieving 100% program completion. Created / successfully implemented corrective action plans for the Connecticut Department of Public Health, TJC and CMS.
