Paxis Group it is a group of seven highly specialized companies. I worked for Praxis Report - its a branch that specializes mainly on annual reports (print and web versions) and corporate presentations. Thanks to this experience, I understood what it means to work in a large team for big/wellknown customers. In the agency we design publications and web sites for huge companies, such as: Sber bank, X5 Group, Yandex, Open bank, Etalon, Russagro, Sitronics and others. Here I finally realized that it is very pleasant to work in a team. I am especially grateful there are experienced art directors for their guidance. I also learned that my opinion matters, and that I can convince my superiors of the rightness of my decision if I make enough arguments. I also learned how to work with large and complex amounts of data: because annual reports are full of complex technical information and flowcharts. It’s impossible to make a good design if you don’t understand the essence yourself. Show less

During this period, I learned to be completely autonomous. I learned to do my own accounting and document management. I've also learned how to interact more thoroughly with clients. I have come across the fact that many customers evaluate the design solely on the basis of a subjective feeling. I advised to entrust this choice to the target audience. I helped gather focus groups from the target audience and conducted ux ui research. I have seen the result of this approach. The clients have much less doubts about the choice of design and accordingly there are fewer edits (which significantly accelerated the work). I am sure that I was able succeed in finding a common language with clients, because many clients still write to me and ask if I have time to take their project. But at some point I realized that my work had become much more about client interaction than design itself. So I decided to get a job in a big design agency with experienced art directors to learn from their experience and to learn how to work in big teams. Show less

The studio had a wide profile of specializations: websites, design of printed publications, branding etc. During my time with the company I've changed positions few times. I was still at university when I got a job as a junior designer. My task was to do my job in a quality and timely manner. I was making web site interfaces, designed brand books and stuff like that. Eventually, I rose to lead designer. It was now my responsibility not only to do quality design, but also to assemble a team of designers. I was involved in conducting interview and had to train new employees. It was very exciting to collect all my experience from several years, structure it, and teach all this to other designers. I was also in charge of some projects (i had to communicate with clients, make presentations and give arguments). I think i succeded at establishing contact with customers, understanding their needs, and helping them choose the best solution. Thanks to that I was able to work completely autonomously later.
