Art and Design Teacher

Aug 2013 - Aug 2014
During my time at The English Academy I have been responsible for teaching secondary Art, Textiles and Graphics. I have been responsible for creating schemes of work for Graphics which have included detailed lesson plans and creating resources for other teachers. I have been involved with running the website team for the school which entailed managing secondary students and giving them inspiration when designing the new school website. The English Academy held a conference for all schools in Kuwait for teacher training, my involvement in this conference was to deliver a training session to a group of 20 teachers on how to use Prezi and the benefits of using a SMART presentation tool such as Prezi instead of Powerpoint or other Microsoft packages. I received good feedback for this training session from teachers and senior managers from other schools. Show less
