Graduate Research Intern (Bachelor Thesis)

For my bachelor’s thesis, I worked as a Graduate Research Intern, focusing on the development of a standardized test procedure for characterizing external domestic hot water (DHW) modules. Within this project, I achieved the following milestones: • Thesis Topic: "Development of a standardized test procedure for the characterization of external domestic hot water modules." • Proposed Development: Suggested three proposals for assessing the comfort, capacity, and energy efficiency properties of external DHW modules, contributing to the advancement of standardized testing methodologies in the field. • Developing and programming of a custom Finite Element Pipe Model for simulating temperature propagation through DHW piping • Automation Tool: Developed an extensive Visual Basic (VBA) tool to streamline and automate the comfort and energy efficiency test procedures based on the newly proposed methods, enhancing efficiency and precision. • Academic Achievement: Earned a grade of 10/10 for my thesis report, reflecting the depth and quality of the work undertaken.
