I joined the team in a phase of active growth of the codebase and refactoring existing code to match current web standards and user experience. As a part of team that builds internal CMS I completely rewrote some old admin section on backend and implemented new fancy interfaces using vue.js on frontend. In many cases the main request was to speed up admin interfaces and decrease waiting time. It was achieved in some cases by optimizing a backend part, such as SQL queries, and in other cases, by splitting up one request on multiple small requests made in parallel. In the crawling division I'm in charge of tools such Chrome extensions, internal CMS (written in PHP) and take part in developing of the crawler/scrapper (using Python), optimization of communications between services running in AWS and implementing some aux services using Golang.
