Bio
🎮 Manuel Correia
Konrad is an excellent QA Manager with a big focus on accessibility. I would suggest talking to him early in the project, because with just a few quick tweaks you will make the game better for everyone. He is very professional, gets straight to the point and has a good sense of humor. Highly recommended!

I worked with Konrad for around two and a half years on the QA team for theHunter: Call of the Wild. He came on to the project with no prior experience of working in an embedded QA capacity and quickly familiarised himself with the demands that entails. In his time as QA Lead on Call of the Wild and QA Craft Lead, he juggled the needs of both his project team and the wider QA discipline at Avalanche and demonstrated his capacity for thoughtful leadership and knowledge sharing. He valued his teams' input and advocated their concerns, even under challenging circumstances. He's a skilled communicator, affable but measured, articulate, and to-the-point, who is unafraid to speak truth to power and fearlessly champions a holistic approach to quality. He understood the game, its systems, and its target audience like no one else I've worked with, and soon became the go-to person on the team to ask about community concerns or obscure mechanics. Konrad consistently emphasised the importance of inclusive player experiences and used his thorough understanding of accessibility best practices to push for improved accessibility on all Avalanche games; we're still using the templates he designed. It's been an absolute pleasure to work with Konrad and I hope that I'll be able to do so again in some capacity. He's a real asset to any team.
