Kerri is awesome. Super on point on the emails (which is rare these days), gets to things with a quickness, also writes pieces that are actually interesting. Not to mention she has great taste. A+

At Willow, I work collaboratively with the school's leadership and Director of Admissions to develop and execute the independent school's brand and marketing strategy. This includes creating, managing, and evaluating marketing campaigns across all channels, developing and managing our digital and social media marketing, creating audience-focused, compelling, and shareworthy content, planning and staffing events on and off campus, developing and executing our print and digital ad strategy, and PR. I also serve as the school's in-house graphic designer, photographer, and videographer, coordinating external support as needed. I plan and manage the school's admissions and marketing budget. In my time at The Willow School, I led a complete re-branding of the school, launched our first-ever comprehensive digital marketing campaign, and redesigned our website, working with a marketing firm. I also revitalized our social media, introduced nurture campaigns for new leads, and helped establish our community outreach strategy. Since we launched our new brand strategy and digital campaign, inquiries, tours, and enrollment have increased dramatically. I am also the advisor to the Willow Alumni Society, supporting our Alumni Society Coordinator, and chair of the Yearbook Committee. In 2020, I also became a middle school advisor. I began as a Marketing & Administrative Assistant in March 2017 before being promoted to Manager in Summer 2017 and Director in 2018. Show less

I host a two-hour music show called Beg, Borrow & Steal on Sunday afternoons. The show ties the music of today to the music of the past, featuring modern independent musicians played alongside their influences. You can find out more and listen online at wdvrfm.org. I wrote, recorded video, and took photos for all stories. I've covered committee meetings and events for the newspaper, from local marathons to the Clinton Christmas Parade and For High Bridge fundraisers. I successfully pitched feature and news story ideas in addition to working on assignment. I wrote, recorded video, and took photos for all stories. I helped produce a weekly talk show called Let's Talk, aired on Monday afternoons, at WDVR. In my role as a producer, I researched local non-profits and key community issues, searching for great interview subjects. I reached out to guests, scheduled interviews, and prepped guests in collaboration with the show host, Laurie K. I ran the talk show's social media and packaged information about upcoming guests for our monthly newsletters. Babe Squad was an interview project that profiled people who found unique paths to happiness and success. Our goal was to support these extraordinary individuals and encourage others to pursue their passions through their example. Kayla Wroblewski and I originated the concept. I planned and edited content, including social media. I researched, set up, conducted, and wrote a majority of the interviews, and I recruited and managed contributors. At Impose, I conducted feature interviews with musicians, covered festivals, and wrote music video or song premiere posts. In 2012, I created the Chain Letter interview series to make the most out of our festival coverage and worked with Impose videographers to create short Chain Letter videos. I also traveled to SXSW with Impose on our annual Impositions, writing tour diary entries along the way. I often took my own photos for interviews, especially Chain Letter posts. At emcBlue, a daily pop culture blog, I managed a team of 10 interns, including another editor. My editing responsibilities went beyond checking for grammar errors to working one-on-one with our intern team to develop and enhance their story ideas. After my first six months, I became a key part of our editorial team, interviewing and hiring potential writers and weighing in on site design changes. My day-to-day activities also included editing, writing titles, editing photos, organizing content, and selecting feature stories. In addition to those responsibilities, I also wrote pop culture news and opinions pieces of my own, including a commentary column. Show less
