As a chairman, I was responsible for the board of study association ID of the Faculty of Industrial Design Engineering. The association has 28 committees, together forming a fully independent non-profit organisation that organizes all sort of things to broaden the IDE-student's horizon. Our services range from fun trips to one day cases, speed dates to 3-week study trips and all sorts of events and workshops. Some well-known highlights are our IO-Business fair, a two day fair where dozens of companies share their views and interests, the Turn The Page magazine a quarterly magazine with more than 7000 printed copies and our own bar, where we host everything from our weekly Wednesday night walk-in to faculty drinks and all kinds of receptions. During my year as a chairman, I was responsible for the complete rebuilding of all the workspaces, meeting rooms and the bar of the association managing diverse stakeholders like TU Delft Real Estate, the architects from Studio 44X and multiple construction firms.
