Michel Koch joined Time Inc. UK in 2015 as eCommerce Director and quickly identified strategic business growth opportunities. He was promoted to the CMO position in March 2015, and was tasked with the delivery of organisational transformation in the business, which he successfully delivered, creating significant savings and efficiencies for Time Inc. UK. During his time with us, subscriptions revenues were well protected, delivering year on year results far better than industry averages; he also grew the enterprise partnerships revenues. He led and initiated a groupwide initiative around marketing ROI measurements and the centralisation of key activities (cover mounts, email marketing etc.) to enable Time Inc. UK’s 50+ brands to benefit from central resources and skills and share best practice, whilst delivering cost efficiencies. Finally, he restructured the customer marketing team to enable Time Inc. UK to deliver organic growth initiatives (eCommerce, recurring revenues activities, marketplaces) that were key to the future of the business at that time. Overall, Michel demonstrated expertise in eCommerce, digital marketing and CRM and built the foundations for growth through the use of data and analytics, the exploration of adjacent markets and recurring revenue models. I would like to thank Michel for his contribution to Time Inc. UK’s journey. Marcus Rich (CEO)
