Chris is one of the very best Project (and people) Managers that I have ever had the pleasure to work with. I have had the benefit of watching him work from within the same organization at Dachis Group and then working with him directly on projects as a contract partner with XPLANE. He has the ability to see the crux of a problem and come up with excellent, tactical, solutions for it…in what seems to be an instant. These solutions touch on any, and every, aspect of a project and team, big or small. Until I worked with Chris, I had never encountered someone in this role who can fluidly suggest creative, technical, and personnel solutions without stepping on any toes. This is all in addition to deftly handling client asks, timelines, budgets, and resourcing. His demeanor is always the perfect balance of logic, calm, humor, and seriousness which keeps everyone on task (both client-side and internal) and in a mindset to accomplish great things. I hope to work with Chris again, soon and often.

Working shoulder to shoulder with someone for 6 years teaches you a lot. Though it took me a while to understand his dry humor and penchant for quoting obscure (but always relevant!) song lyrics, I have come to deeply admire Chris as a powerhouse operational strategist and problem solver. Yes, he's a phenomenal program manager and producer - able to make a plan for just about any goal and keep everything on track, on budget, with happy clients and teams along the way. But Chris operates on a much more strategic level. He observes and analyzes organizational systems, processes and ways of working, and is always optimizing the operation with data-driven insights and proposals. If you could look inside Chris' brain you'd probably see some sort of 27-sided Rubik's cube - he can find a creative, analytical solution to just about any problem an organization or customer might face. Also, he's a great dad and a kind human being. I think that's pretty important, too.
