Intern
-
Jan 2019 - May 2019
For the Spring 2019 semester I had the opportunity to be apart of the Washington Center Program where I had an internship with the Director of Media and Public Relations for the DC Superior Court. While I was an intern I went to different events the court hosted and I would take pictures and write an article for it to be posted on their social media site like FaceBook, Instagram, and Twitter, along with the courts internal website. I helped come up with different idea to highlight what the court does every month and interviewed many court employees including judges.Everyday I used programs like Microsoft word and Google Doc. I also assisted the Executive office by answering the phone and doing administrative tasks. Show less

Summer Intern
-
May 2018 - Aug 2018
Over the Summer I was an intern for the CASA and went through their training to become a certified advocate for children going through the court system. In their field office in Manchester I worked on projects that ranged from helping to set up for big events, making copies, organizing materials for future trainings, taking inventory, helping out the marketing team, and filing documents. I also worked with programs such as Microsoft Excel, and Google Docs.
