  The responsibilities included, but were not limited to: • Oversee progress of all aspects of fish husbandry • Independently track and evaluate hatchery operating budget quarterly • Forecast future annual hatchery operating budget for next fiscal year • Acquire quotes and submit purchase requisitions for hatchery supplies • Compile a 5 year plan for hatchery capital improvement projects • Ensure hatchery is in compliance with all legal permits, company production criteria, annual management plans, and corporation disease standards • Serve as liaison between contractors and the PWSAC general manager/board of directors • Lead a permanent staff of 8 and a seasonal staff of up to 24 • Ensure the hatchery staff present PWSAC in an appropriate and positive manner to the general public • Provide oversight to the hatchery commissary program • Complete annual performance evaluations for all permanent staff
