Fra 2013 til 2016 havde jeg fornøjelsen af, som chef for controlling, at referere til og arbejde tæt sammen med Klaus under en omstrukturering, hvor Klaus qua sin store erfaring og samlende personlighed var organisationens naturlige omdrejningspunkt. Klaus er karakteriseret ved stor integritet, faglighed og kapacitet, og jeg oplevede ham med en altid meget analytisk, velovervejet og helhedsorienteret tilgang, hvilket gav organisationen den nødvendige stabilitet og kontinuitet i beslutnings- og forandringsprocesserne under omstruktureringen. Som leder er Klaus inddragende, delegerende, viser tillid og kommunikerer klart forventninger, og Klaus stiller høje krav til sig selv og andre med hensyn til kvalitet og rettidighed. Det var meget inspirerende og lærerigt at se Klaus agere under omstruktureringen med fastholdelse af strategisk fokus og altid med blik for helheden for organisationen.
