      I was selected as one of 20 high school students to participate in the Research Academy for Young Scientists, a challenging four-week-long summer research program. My research was conducted under the direction of Dr Antonio Capezza at the Fiber and Polymer Technology section in the Royal Institute of Technology. This resulted in a paper titled "Production and Manipulation of Biodegradable Absorbents for Their Use in Sanitary Products".
