For a period of time I functioned as Kirstyn’s Assistant in her photography work. Working with her was fun, easy, and educational. I went into it not knowing much about art and design, but she was always patient with me and happy to show me the ropes while managing to capture and preserve meaningful memories for her clients. I dealt directly with clients (engaging children, sorting out shoot locations, etc.) and in doing that I was able to see that people who hired her appreciated her work and often became repeat customers. She has an knack for seeing things the average person doesn’t, capturing it in an image, and then telling a whole story. She really is gifted and it was a pleasure to work for her.
