Member of a team which is responsible of design, development, test, deployment and support (including L1) lifecycles of the Linxa products. Our main development language is Java and database server is MySQL. In addition to this, Oracle, PostgreSQL and MSSQL are also used as database engine in different scenarios. Here are some details on what I’m currently using on daily basis: Google Web Toolkit (GWT) framework which enables us to develop frontend in Java, Azul’s Zing as Java Virtual Machine (JVM) to have pauseless GC cycles instead of commonly used alternatives such as the Oracle or the OpenJDK, Apache Tomcat as application server and UNIX based operating systems.Besides, I’m responsible of system and network administration of both test and production sites of Linxa. Physical server installation in datacenters, cabling, OS installation and configuration, network configuration and maintenance are in my responsibility. As Telecoms and its subdomain Wholesale market requires, our main objectives are to provide high-available and fully-redundant solutions to our customers all around the world.Furthermore, helping on pre-sales tasks, managing a project from the kick-off meeting until its user acceptance test (UAT) phase, conducting training sessions with both technical and commercial teams, attending worldwide Telecoms events with the team are within the scope of my responsibilities.
