  • Since 2016, the Zazie Film Production, under the direction of Jean-Pierre Luc, has followed the journey of my family in order to produce a documentary entitled Hymne Migratoire. • In the same vein, I had the opportunity to present the documentary in three secondary schools of the Viamonde School Board• Following these presentations, the students were able to learn a song and I was able to lead a dance.• I chose to present this documentary to make students aware of the issues related to immigration and the importance of music in the life of an immigrant.• A reflection on two subjects linked to the social and political context: the integration of immigrants and the processing of asylum applications. • Many students found themselves thanks to the documentary. Immigration is of course an ongoing historical theme, but it also touches the everyday life of each newcomer.• I would like to continue presenting this documentary in the form of a conference in all French-language public and Catholic schools, organizations of newcomers, political institutions, in order to draw the attention of young people, teachers and decision-makers to realities related to immigration.
