  Having worked in both operations and commercial departments, I transferred to the sales floor as a Sales Supervisor to develop my management skills. The role comprised staff management, training and customer service assistance to ensure sales were maximised. Focusing on developing the Africa product, I worked closely with suppliers (both hoteliers and airlines) to negotiate commercially favourable rates. I also managed the updating of the Africa website including pricing, copy and imagery and was tasked with providing competitive analysis for the product manager.In addition to my core responsibilities, I was also involved in the SEO/PPC meetings, assisting the accounts department with the resolution of invoice discrepancies and supplementing the sales team during peak periods.Throughout this period, I reported directly to the product director and was regularly entrusted to represent the company at supplier meetings and events. I was also involved with the implementation of a new in-house contracts management system and the Amadeus Ticketing Platform.
