The single biggest killer of Australians is heart disease. The Heart Foundation is dedicated to fight this disease and works to improve prevention and care for those who are affectedMy role managed the relationships with current donors; philanthropists who pledged their financial support, the community who contributed not only financially but in a voluntary capacity, patrons who were considering or who had confirmed they were leaving a gift in their Will and organisations who were able to support in various capacitiesMy achievements included implementing a program plan of existing and potential new major donors by researching and discussing with team members. This is used by all staff to ensure philantropists receive the level of communication necessary. The number of attendees to events tripled. By inviting organisations and a wider range of donors the exposure generated an increase in donations and media attentionImplemented a structure for donors, organisations and internal stakeholders to provide confidential feedback upon attendance of events. Feedback received was 100% positive with comments “personable”, “highly organised” and “extremely competent”
