Guru Productions primarily produce shows for the Channel 9 network such as The Garden Gurus, Destination WA, Delish and Explore as well as corporate videos.At Guru Productions I primarily worked on the travel program, Destination WA as a Production Coordinator and Edit Assistant. Being a small company of only eight full time staff we all worked incredibly closely and had a large range of responsibilities. My duties included (but not limited to):• Tracking of Australia-wide projects, office and project management, coordinating schedulesthrough itineraries and call sheets for both local and away shoots, managing and organizing all shoot requirements such as field crews and equipment, consistently managing specific administrative requirements, location and studio scouting and booking, providing casting, crew and facilities information• Working closely with sponsors, particularly tourism operators, as well as larger organisations such as RAC, Tourism WA and Virgin Australia in content development and ensuring their marketing needs were met through in-programme storylines and messaging, social media and website content.• Working closely to a budget utilising strategies to achieve high quality production at low cost including the development of editorial content through contra relationships. • Importing and logging all wild footage in excel as well as tracking the storage of all program content while in production and after completion. Editing stories for broadcast as well as developing social media videos. • Managing the "Destination WA" Instagram and Facebook page. Develop and maintain a social media strategy in line with brand objectives and client needs. Create paid Facebook giveaway posts using design tools such as Photoshop. • Assisting on shoots with time coding, scheduling, lighting and filming with GoPro and Drone.My favourite stories to which I was lucky enough to research, coordinate, field assist and edit are linked below.

Waitress

I worked at Matisse Beach Club throughout my studies at University. I thoroughly enjoyed the dynamic nature of the work as well as the great team spirit that is involved in working with hospitality. I have worked in the hospitality industry since age 13 and believe the skills learnt in this field are transferrable across multiple employment opportunities.At Matisse I was fortunate enough to be one of the staff cross-trained across all areas- from fine dining, to casual bar tending as well as hosting private functions, I was able to assist the team wherever needed. As a long standing employee at the Club, I was also responsible for training a variety of staff.

WASTV is a non-for-profit organisation consisting largely of volunteers, like myself. We produce promotional video's free of charge for charities and other non-for-profit groups. WASTV also acts as an educational tool for students in learning more about film and television. I originally joined when I was successfully granted an internship where I attended a week long film camp and learnt many filming, sound and editing skills. Since then I became part of the executive team which meant attending board meetings and working on productions. Dukbill is an upcoming financial brand. I am able to intern, working with the CEO and the marketing team to help grow and develop the brand awareness and usage of the dukbill software. The attached video is an adverisement created by my good friend Anouska Freedman and myself. We wrote, filmed and edited the production and it was used as a sponsored advertisement on facebook and provided successful ROI for the company. Dukbill is an upcoming financial brand. Senior Waitress and Social media marketer

As a senior waitress I am often in charge of the bar and floor area on shifts. This involves organising staff and making sure procedures flow correctly. Myself, along with colleague, Stephanie Baumgartel have full control over the content development and posts for Betty's social media platforms of Facebook and Instagram.
