Work Placement
-
Jun 2015 - Feb 2016
While on the Princes Trust I expressed an interest in lettings so I was given the opportunity to go to Sanctuary Housing. While on work placement I shadowed the housing team and helping them with their daily duties. Once this placement was over the manager of one of the teams I worked with asked me back once a week. With this team i spoke to residents and helped them with issues and also done some more shadowing and learnt all about social housing. I was asked by many different department managers to create letters for residents and spreadsheets along with posters. I was also asked to write an article for the Sanctuary newsletter that was sent to all residents. At Christmas I helped with the annual review on the run up and also on the day. I still speak to many of the people I worked with from my time at Sanctuary

Customer Assistant

Aug 2012 - Feb 2015
I was a checkout customer assistant. This involved dealing with customers and making sure they had a stress less time in the supermarket and ensuring they were happy when they left the store as i was the last person they would deal with. I then got the responsibility of the self service and scan as you shop tills and this involved making sure customers on both sections were happy and if they had an issue ensure it was dealt with promptly and correctly. I also got asked to work in the petrol station which involved serving customers and also cashing up tills at the end of the night and locking up after all shelves were stacked and everything had been brought in and ensuring the correct pumps were switched off. Then passing the keys over to security and telling them of any issues.
