Providing project support for a number of Sport Development projects such as Coach Education, Positive Together and Sport England's Sportivate initiative. Whilst providing support to the Sportivate project I am tasked with managing relationships with Local Authority leads, College Sport Makers, Clubs and other delivery partners to ensure that quality coaching sessions are delivered to and accessed by young people aged 11-25years. My role on the Positive Together programme again involves liaising with delivery partners to ensure that quality sport sessions are delivered to those who are at risk of offending or causing anti-social behaviour in some of the most deprived wards in Lancashire. I'm responsible for organising and coordinating training and development opportunities for coaches and volunteers across Lancashire in line with Lancashire Sports Coach Development plan. I also manage the Lancashire Sport Training Bursary which provides funding opportunities for any volunteer or coaches who wish to develop as well as sourcing volunteer opportunities for and sending out regular communications to our bank of over 1,500 volunteers.
