    • Miss Adelaide in "Guys and Dolls"
      • Apr 2013 - Jun 2013

Wyatt -- and director Dan Knechtges -- deserve a tip of the fedora for bringing an unexpected freshness to a character who is so well-known that a good portion of the audience can mouth the lyrics to "Adelaide's Lament," wherein Miss A enumerates her "psychosomatic symptoms," including "la grippe" and "la post nasal drip." (Friday's opening-night crowd nearly stopped the show cheering for Wyatt when she sang the last note of that signature number.) Her performance is off-kilter and odd, worlds away from the usual portrayals of Adelaide as a blond (and dizzy) bombshell. She's also an unforgettable riot. -Andrea Simakis, The Plain Dealer, (You can read the full review here: http://www.cleveland.com/onstage/index.ssf/2013/05/guys_and_dolls_at_playhousesqu.html) Chewing the scenery into a fine paste, Wyatt squeaks and squeals with delight and rage as she tries to corral the ever-elusive Nathan. And her signature songs, "Adelaide's Lament" and "A Bushel and a Peck," are thoroughly delightful. -Christine Howey, Cleveland Scene, The irrepressible Wyatt almost steals the show as the eternally engaged Miss Adelaide. Her rendition of “Adelaide’s Lament,” in which the long-suffering fiancee discovers the psychosomatic cause of her cough, is a comic gem. -Fran Heller, Cleveland Jewish News Show less

    • Higbee's Elf/Mrs. Schwartz
      • Oct 2012 - Dec 2012

Kirsten had the pleasure of being in the original Broadway cast of the new Broadway classic "A Christmas Story" after touring with the musical during the holiday season of 2011. She was thrilled to bring the holiday spirit to Broadway audiences - whether she was knee sliding across the stage as a department store elf or giving her foul-mouthed son a piece of her mind (and backhand) as Geraldine Schwartz. • Paulette in "Legally Blonde"
      • Jul 2012 - Aug 2012

A vibrant Kirsten Wyatt is a standout as the brassy yet kind-hearted hairdresser, Paulette, who becomes Elle’s best gal pal. One of the funniest numbers features the cheerleaders giving Paulette a pep talk to boost her self confidence. They teach her the snap and bend dance routine to catch a man. -Johanna Crosby, GateHouse News Service (wickedlocal.com) Kirsten Wyatt is Paulette Buonofuonte, the hairdresser with the heart of gold. Wyatt's comedic timing is impeccable and adds to the overall silliness of the story--especially in the second act. -Maggie Kulbokas, Cape Cod Today Show less

    • Agnes Gooch in "Mame"
      • Mar 2012 - Jul 2012

Connecticut Critics Circle Award Winner! Actually, Roderick has found himself a triumvirate of stars for this endeavor, as the Agnes Gooch of Kirsten Wyatt proves to be a showstopper herself, as her character bemoans (or is it celebrates?) the banquet of life she has learned to enjoy thanks to Mame's tutelage. Gooch's evolution from wallflower to woman of the world parallels the Wyatt's own performance, as she moves from quiet background role as nanny and secretary to comedic tour de force she becomes in the second act. ~Andrew Beck, Hartford Arts Examiner But the real scene stealer here is Kirsten Wyatt as Agnes Gooch. Wyatt manages to make Gooch downright adorable without being cloying or grating, and her rendition of "Gooch's Song" rightfully gets the biggest ovation of the night. ~Christopher Caggiano, Theatermania.com Show less
