I had the pleasure of working with Kirsten Leighs over a 4 year period on several advertising campaigns. From one day shoots for small independent business owners through to annual national Campaigns for the NZSO involving weeks of prep and several weeks shooting. Kirsten was the person I came to for style direction, questions about budget, queries about our talents needs, in fact she was the glue for the whole team.

      I was employed by Ocean to look after it’s largest growth client, ACC. I worked with the ACC Marketing and Communications Team, Programme Managers and Senior Execs to help implement internal and external marketing and communications that aligned with ACCs vision, positioning and operational strategies set out by the CEO and the Minister. A team of 30+ marcomms and brand staff at ACC work toward these strategic objectives and my role, as part of a wider team at Ocean, was to look after these staff members, advise, help plan, develop and implement measureable, relevant strategic and visual communications to audience groups (ACC staff, stakeholders, partners, public). My core role at Ocean also included: Business growth for Ocean (meeting targets with a focus on ACC). Exceptional client servicing. Understanding my clients’ business and helping achieve strategic goals. Assistance in writing internal business cases for various programmes and audience groups. Brand management, working with the Marketing and Brand Managers at ACC and The University of Auckland Business School.
