I had the pleasure of managing Kirren Rehman for a year (Aug 2019-Aug 2020) as she filled in for a marketing coordinator who was on maternity leave. Kirren's work ethic, dedication, drive, passion, and thoroughness were her key characteristics and enabled her to seamlessly fit in with the team as she quickly became a valuable and impactful contributor. After learning our project management software, she helped identify, evaluate, recommend, and implement an even better project management tool. Upon implementation, she served as the subject matter expert. Kirren was very aware of deadlines and was very persistent, yet kind, in working with several people across departments to meet project timelines. When appropriate, Kirren was quick to keep me updated, especially if she had questions or encountered barriers. Kirren produced valuable and impactful work, was greatly respected by co-workers, and was a joy to have on the team. Upon the return from maternity leave of the original marketing coordinator, Kirren did a great job reintroducing her to our new tools and processes. Although it was a smooth transition, we did miss Kirren and her positive presence and impact after her contract expired. However, I am positive Kirren will find a new opportunity in which she can use her valuable talents and great attitude to bring success to another team.
