  During my internship I acquired essential hands-on experience and skills in performing kyphoplasty, prolapsed disc surgery and cysts affecting the spinal cord, primarily in the lumbar segment. Clinical days also included taking a medical anamnesis of new patients and neurological examination, followed by a discussion regarding the adequate treatment plan with the senior doctor. The non-clinical days were occupied by a non-invasive treatment modality, implementing facet joint injections, which yield a great result against a recurring or chronic lumbar tenderness and severe pain.   The focus of my academic experimental project lies on the visualization and activation of the brown adipose tissue, with the help of an infrared camera. For the purpose of conducting the experiment, ethics committee ensured the research was carried out in accordance with national and international law.
