The Foundation has distributed thousands of books to young kids to help build literacy skills as well as helping to resurface street courts for basketball for youth to maintain an active and healthy lifestyle and has also managed women and girls program, annual Christmas events, multiple basketball camps, tournaments, life skills clinics and mentorship programs.   The Long Term Impact of the HCF PHP initiative is to educate these families and their children on the importance of personal hygiene: frequently washing their hands before and after eating, brushing their teeth daily, wearing face masks especially in enclosed spaces in order to protect their loved ones and hand sanitizing. In addition, to empower these families to take the responsibility to become more accountable on the value they put towards their personal, family and environmental health. Show less

  Resurfacing outdoor basketball courts will create a safer space and place for youth to play in a more appealing environment. It will reduce the high risk of injuries and provide the required tool (Basketball) for youth to aspire to do more for themselves. The opening of each court will create long lasting partnerships with families and communities, but most importantly empower participating youth by putting them in the lights as positive role models and community leaders who may mentor others

• HCF PEACE AMBASSADORS

  The Goals of the HCF Ambassadors for Peace are to create a sustainable system and peaceful environment while committing to educational and health awareness, sports, player and individual development. These community athletes are role models whom will be visiting orphanage/widow and less privileged homes. Multiple school visits; encouraging reading and contributing to early child development while creating the awareness of peace and helping to grow the game of basketball.
