  As a community outreach and alumni coordinator at SunCloud, I have a variety of priorities all centered around supporting our patients in their recovery journeys: ● I lead 10 support groups a week and track patient information in Best Notes and Salesforce. ● I prioritize meeting with patients individually, especially upon arrival and within a week of discharge. ● I find, schedule, and organize 20 volunteers and speakers a week for group events and host two panels a month. ● I manage the volunteer and speaker calendar, lead marketing for the events, and moderate the panels. I attend external community meetings and events and talk to other alumni networking with other treatment centers to advance SunCloud’s programs. ● I build relationships with outside resources and businesses that can help our patients be successful outside treatment, and then connect patients to these resources, pairing them with the services they need for their specific situation. ● I support the intake department with referrals and supporting patients and families if they are a good fit for SunCloud, and if they need to pursue another treatment avenue, I refer them to the options that make the most sense for them.
