Combining 22 years in the surgical arena with significant experience as the creator of the PSH/ERAS program, it became necessary to enable other organizations to design, build, and launch best practice pathways in their organizations to meet the Quadruple Aim of Healthcare. In this role, I acted as a subject matter expert in incorporating Enhanced Recovery After Surgery (ERAS) Pathways into clinical practice. As a consultant, I assisted my clients in scaling various value-based integrated care models that resulted in improved clinical outcomes and cost savings. During this time, I also authored three implementation manuals that reviewed best practices for executing a comprehensive PSH/ERAS program. Show less
