-Support Clinical Laboratory Scientists with writing Standard Operating Procedures.- Perform Precision study for Quality Control with new lot numbers to establish new ranges.- Utilize statistical data to create charts and graphs on MS Excel- Perform sample processing and extraction procedures for LC/MS both manually and automated.- Maintain equipment functionality by following operating instructions and troubleshooting breakdowns. - Perform preventative maintenance and initiating service calls as needed.- Monitor reagent and supply inventory, organizing stock and ordering as needed. - Review daily QC and Calibration, making adjustments and changes necessary.- Assess patient data for errors or anomalies to ensure accuracy prior to releasing results.- Interpret sample validity and reject samples for suspected tampering or adulteration.- Train and certify all Scientists and staff on LC/MS, AU640e and Hamilton instrument operation and maintenance.-Create training documents for new employees and current staff to utilize.- Document daily temperatures, problem resolutions, and maintain daily logs and equipment record books.
