I am the Membership Director at the Morrison Family YMCA, and I have had the pleasure of working closely with Kim all summer and into the fall. Kim came to us this summer as a full-time volunteer and we were thrilled to have her. We had just embarked on digitizing all of our membership files and Kim took on the project and exceeded our expectations. She prepped files, scanned files, saved and renamed them and kept them all in order and organized. She would come in, get herself set up and go. Kim rarely needed instruction after the first time and she found ways to be more productive and proactive in her work with us. Kim did a wonderful job here at Morrison, so once she completed her tasks here, she went over to Wesley Chapel YMCA and Sara’s YMCA to help them organize their administrative work as well. Not only does Kim have a wonderful work ethic and drive, but she also has the ability to connect with the team. Not many volunteers get to know our staff teams as well as Kim did. She often would ask questions about membership or paperwork, she would chat with staff and work with them on projects, and most importantly she would listen and learn from them. Kim has truly immersed herself into our Y family and culture. Kim will be a wonderful asset to any organization and their administrative team. She is dedicated, hard-working, and enthusiastic! She has expressed numerous times how much working for non-profits and mission based organizations means to her. I would be happy to talk more about Kim and her work within our community if necessary.

Throughout my tenure at the IPT, I depended on Kim's mentorship and support in what turned out to be a very difficult role. It was thanks to her stable presence as my supervisor that I was ultimately able to acclimate to my position. I was particularly impressed with her ability to act as a mediator in our office, which was filled with several strong and often clashing personalities. No matter what problem I came to her with, I always left her office feeling calm and reassured that things would work out for the best.
