  I work as part of a team to ensure the success of high school students from Vietnam studying in Lincoln. I tutor in a variety of subjects, including English, US history, US government, chemistry, and speech. In addition, I help supervise daily activities and studies, improve conversational English, provide cultural experiences, and aid students in learning about college and volunteer opportunities.   During my full time employment with DSN, I worked in a residential setting with individuals who had developmental disabilities. I helped them improve their social skills and learn basic life skills, such as reading, budgeting, grocery shopping and healthy eating habits, navigating, and time management. For the last 6 months of my employment here I served as Lead Direct Support Professional, or assistant manager of the location. I completed monthly paperwork, supervised and trained other employees, performed crises management, and fulfilled other duties as required by my supervisor. DSN recently transitioned as part of a merger to the company Community Supports Network.
