Schule Schloss Salem is a well established and highly respected boarding school offering both the German National Curriculum (Abitur) as well as the International Baccalaureate (IB) Programme. Salem was established by Kurt Hahn, founder of the Duke of Edinburgh's Award, Outward Bound, and the first World College. Here at Salem, I was responsible for the Pastoral Care of students between the ages of 15-19. I am a teacher in the IB system for English Language and Literature. Schule Schloss Salem is school that focusses on holistic education which prepares our students to succeed as they graduate.

I had numerous and varied roles while at Mulgrave School. I organized and managed the Social Studies Department, including administering the budget, ordering of supplies, and planning and implementation of curriculum. I taught English to Grade 8-10 as well as Drama 7-9. Additionally, I was a House Tutor for Grade 9 where I was responsible for the mentoring and guidance of my home room class. As Mulgrave School was still very new at the time, it was an exciting dynamic place to work with excellent staff, inspirational leaders, and positive students.
