      As a lifeguard I was responsible for watching my area of the water and making sure that all the rules of the pool were being followed and that everyone was kept safe. I was also responsible for jumping in when a guest needed assistance. Another thing I was responsible for doing was taking care of any first aid needs of the guests such as: nosebleeds, cuts or scrapes, and any other injuries that may occur.
