Two decades ago a small group of community leaders established the foundation of what was to become the Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Sacramento. Inspired by the vision and promise of a thriving and vibrant region, yet concerned about children living in persistent pockets of poverty and violence, this group sought a solution; the Boys & Girls Club. The Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Sacramento has served as a beacon for thousands of the area's youth, ages six to eighteen, providing: a safe place to learn and grow; positive and professional adult mentors; a variety of enriching activities and programs; opportunities to practice life skills and gain real-world experiences; and most of all, hope for a brighter future. GREAT FUTURES START HERE.
