Fast and friendly service are staples of our restaurant. It is my job to quickly greet guests and inform them of all specials for food and drinks that we have to offer. I also strive to really engage with the guests and try to relate to them on a personal level. I am the face of the company because most all of the interaction with guests is through me so I am held to a high standard of customer service as well as being well groomed. An added responsibility of the bar tending position is handling the money drawer as well as mixing alcoholic drinks. At both the beginning and end of my shifts it is expected of me to thoroughly clean my section and some portion of the back of the house part of the restaurant and stock so that the next shift is set up for success should they get busy. I served food and drinks to guests in a relaxed yet upscale environment. I was in charge of not only my section of the restaurant but was also in charge of making sure all guests had a positive experience. If ever a problem arose it was my job to quickly and efficiently correct any issues so that no matter what the guest left happy and felt well taken care of. I helped make the schedule for the front of the house employees and was trained on how to operate the software for the POS system that was used. Before and after each shift there were thorough cleaning and stocking procedures that I helped complete as well as the delegation of work before and throughout shifts.
