Stagehand - Load-in/Load-Out

A team including myself, fellow students and other stagehands were given the opportunity to set up and load out a full scale stage for Canada's VIEW Dance Challenge. Under the supervision of our A/V expert Caleb Reyes, we all worked as a team to load in heavy production equipment such as stagedecks, travelling stage boxes, lights, trusses. We collaborated together to ensure lighting was properly wired, as well as audio cables, PA speakers, fast-fold projector screens, while maintaining proper and clean safety measures. Show less

Myself and a crew of three others were granted the opportunity to handle a one-night load-out at The Aeolian Hall in London, On. We expedited safe movement of stage cases, equipment handling, stage clean-up and successful unloading to the appropriate trailer. This was a great opportunity and a peek into how stagehands and crew members efficiently clean up after a production.
