President & CEO | Oct 2013-Present Girls Inc.’s mission is to inspire all girls to be strong, smart, & bold. Since 1955, Girls Inc. of Santa Fe has been THE positive development & risk prevention organization for Santa Fe girls, equipping them to navigate gender, economic, & social barriers and grow into healthy, educated, & independent adults. We work with girls ages 5-18 through After School, Spring Break & Summer Camps, Outreach, Workshops, & Collaborations. Our programs, researched & developed on a national level, cover Careers & Life Planning, Health & Sexuality, Leadership & Community Action, Adventure, Self-Reliance & Life Skills, and Culture & Heritage. As CEO, I lead our multi-year growth plans to expand programs & reach to empower thousands of girls across Santa Fe & nearby pueblos. Committed to driving positive change, I foster collaborative relationships, strengthen financial stewardship, & champion the Girls Inc. brand. Director of Operations | Jan 2010-Sep 2013 Business partner to the Executive Director on the organization’s financial, budgeting, & administrative processes while developing & improving systems to ensure efficient operations. Supervised the Program department & contract staff. Managed all aspects of Human Resources. Oversaw financials for the organization, including budgeting & reporting on cash flow, forecasting, fundraising revenue, & board reporting. Director of Programs | Oct 2009-Jan 2010 Developed new supervisory role to foster business plan for growth. Adapted Girls Inc. programming to meet the changing interests & needs of Santa Fe girls, including the opening of a second community center. Program Director | May 2005- Oct 2009 After joining as Program Assistant, served as Program Director to develop new systems for improving program quality & implementation. Administered all aspects of programs, including coordinating with staff & volunteers, recruiting girls, & maintaining girl/family/staff relationships. Show less
