Lead a team of 11 direct reports in two departments: Purchasing and Supply Chain Administration. Responsible for $380M in annual spend domestically and internationally including all direct and indirect material purchases as well as all services. Implemented process improvements bringing visibility to purchasing procedures and aligning with internal Sarbanes-Oxley controls. Oversee 90% of data analytics, 80% of quoting, and all projects for our Procurement Team of 29 employees. Achieved cost reduction in ADTRAN’s annual contract manufacturer spend through quarterly pricing review and negotiations, resulting in savings of over $10M in 2018 (8%). Created and implemented SharePoint site to reduce the resolution time on invoicing issues by 64.6% and reduce the resolution time on critical material shortages by 40.6%. Oversee the Supply Chain review and approval for over 300 new Supplier requests and updates annually.

Compile all needed reporting for our global procurement team utilizing Oracle Discoverer, Qlikview, BaaN, ISite, and Excel. Create and build reporting tools that provide visibility for our departmental global pricing goals. Utilize One Note, Jira, and Sharepoint as well as the aforementioned programs to convey needed information to our purchasing team. Establish and manage ADTRAN’s conflict minerals program in accordance with the Dodd-Frank Wall Street Regulation and Consumer Protection Act.
