Project RECOVER is a research study that investigated the impact of Peer Recovery Coaches (PRCs) on those with an Opioid Use Disorder coming out of detox centers in Boston. The study sought to better understand the racial disparities seen in Black/African American and Latinx populations in engaging in treatment for addiction, including primary care, and medication for addiction treatment (MAT).
