Started in the Bacons Bridge Road Branch as a teller, then I moved over to work for Debbie Clarke on Dorchester Rd/Trolley Road as a teller before I moved over to a Customer Service/Sales Representative. I loved my job at South Carolina National/Wachoiva. I loved interacting with my customers, getting to know them, and making banking personal. I went to work as a peak time teller at the Broad Street Branch in Downtown Charleston about a year after I remarried and found out I was pregnant. I had a really nasty divorce from my oldest daughter's father the year before I met my husband, and I had come to learn that family was the most important thing to me. My new husband and I decided that I could afford to take the part time job and then stop working once my son was born. I stopped working after my son was born prematurely in November of 1996, but I sure do miss working in banking and would love to have another job in the banking field. Show less
