I have experienced the pleasure of working closely with Kim during her time as the Student Administrator for the PhD Department at Indiana Tech, as she obtains her MBA in Project Management. During this time, I have witnessed Kim exude superior levels of resourcefulness, organization, and intelligence. As her supervisor, I have gained insight to Kim's academic excellence, as she is a well-respected student at Indiana Tech, both by her peers and professors. Serving as the captain of her golf team, Kim has independently maintained her rigorous schedule between classes, practice and matches, and her work position. Specifically, Kim was an indispensable asset in coordinating and executing the PhD Fall Immersion 2021, which occurred in September, and required several months of planning. This bi-annual event provides our PhD students, across the globe, an immersive experience that spans a three-day window. Kim single-handedly developed several of our media presentations for the event, as well as the compilation and analysis of feedback data from students and faculty, resulting in translatable information for our team to review. Within the department, Kim excitedly shares original ideas during team meetings that are intended to enhance the program and streamline processes. Kim demonstrates the highest level of professionalism and team work to better our program. Not only does Kim exemplify tremendous potential as a student and future leader within the workforce, she also presents a remarkably diverse and cultured background that will undoubtedly equate to innovative and respectable ideas for future employers.
