DEN wanted to replace three existing guard houses located at Gates 1, 4 and 5 to provide the security personnel with a more updated and comfortable work environment. HCL coordinated with DEN, RS&H (the Architect), and other sub consultants, to provide civil design for the three gate locations around DEN. The scope involves updating the guard house locations and layout to accommodate up-to-date mechanical and security equipment, as well as concrete island design for the new guard house footprint. The scope also includes entrance/exit lane re-alignment, striping and new utility connections. Project is scheduled for permit and construction in 2021. 2019-OngoingDEN Construction Office Complex, Denver International Airport, Denver, COProject Manager for the civil engineering design and coordination of a relocated Construction Office Complex (COC), an approximately 40 acre co-location site in support of the Concourse Expansion Program at Denver International Airport (DEN). The site includes craft worker and contractor parking areas, modular project trailers, shuttle bus route design to transport craft workers from the electronic security turnstiles to the secured airport areas.
