As the Case Manger I am in charge evaluating all new resident and creating activity care plans. Other facets of my job require me to work with the Life Enrichment Coordinator to plan, schedule, and implement individual and group activities designed to meet the social, spiritual, emotional, and intellectual needs of our residents, such as events, outings, games, and exercises. Some of my duties are identifying psychosocial needs, developing activity programs/care plans, organizing activities which take place in or outside the facility, and making sure all residents at any skill level can take part in these programs. As an Director I have training and supervisory skills, communication abilities, deadline orientation, good organizational skills, the ability to listen to others and to negotiate, and basic computer competencies.
