  In CRANE (CRitical Asian Narratives and Engagment), I work with the other coordinators to cultivate a community on campus through social media interaction, social events, and discussion based workshops on the Asian-American experience. We created and prepared an Asian Artist Showcase where Asian artists across North Carolina gathered to share their work and stories. I worked on the logistics and finance committee where I was tasked with reaching out to sponsors, mapping out the schedule and venue layout, and drafting contracts. I also headed social events and fundraisers where I had to delegate tasks, setting a timeline of events, and promoting the event on social media.

  In this high paced environment, I demonstrated the ability to learn recipes and machinery in a short period of time. I improved my multi-tasking skills at once as I had to make multiple orders at a time, attend to the register, and make sure ingredients were stocked.
