"Kiki Cloutier reported directly to me during her time at HRPA as the Associate, Events and Sponsorship in my department. HRPA annually produces the largest HR Conference and Tradeshow in North America with over 5,000 attendees, 300 exhibitors, 150 speakers, and 30 sponsors. Kiki was specifically responsible for overseeing the registration function for all attendees, exhibitors, speakers and sponsors for the Annual Conference, however my department functions in a true hands-on environment where all team members assist and support each other for the overall success of the team. In this environment, Kiki was able to cross-train in all functions and gained experience in exhibit and sponsor sales and fulfillment, speaker support, and general event management. In all of her assignments, Kiki demonstrated a strong work ethic, superb organizational and multi-tasking skills. Based on her success in this role, I also assigned her to manage the launch of the Eastern Ontario Human Resources Conference in Ottawa to provide her with exposure to a different market. Kiki rose to the challenge. She has great initiative and creativity and often researched new ideas and approaches to the project at hand. Specifically, her written and presentation skills proved to be a great asset to us. Since that time Kiki has grown in maturity and experience, evidenced by her success so far.
